Voting Question: Civil Case being opened up against me?

I bought an Xbox of a dude over PayPal and the Xbox arrived before the funds cleared. He threatened to call the police even though I was still intent on making sure he received his payment. I decided to send it back to him but I haven't had the time since I recently moved to Yonkers, NY. The seller has decided to open a civil case even though I'm sending it back. What should I do?
